Hollywood, known for stars, struggling actors, and wild characters is also home to a few surprisingly outdoorsy people. While the cement jungle hosts vegans, hacktivists, and dreamers; there are several surprising celebrities that split their time between Hollywood and the outdoors.
Here’s a list of hunting celebrities that may surprise you:
This gorgeous starlett is known for her work with retail brands: Victoria’s Secret and Burberry. She had also replaced Megan Fox in 2011’s Transformers: The Dark of the Moon. She’s taken her fair share of rabbits and pheasants and as a self-proclaimed farm-girl, she knows the lifestyle of farm-to-table.
The French-Canadian singer-songwriter from Ontario lured in her first manager with her tough demeanor (and talent, and looks). Lavigne’s first manager Cliff Fabri told EW.com, “She goes hunting all the time with her brother and dad. Here’s this sweet little thing, and I said to her one time, ‘What about when a little doe comes out and starts nudging up to the mother? What do you do?’ And she goes” — Fabri made a shotgun blast sound. — ”’Dinner.”’
Apparently, there’s a reason she’s not in to skater boys.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert
This country couple lives the lifestyle. I’m sure no one needs a background here, but these two have more hobbies than coaching on The Voice. For their wedding, the two shot and served their own venison to guests in 2011.
The Desperate Housewives star learned to shoot at the age of 4 on her family’s Texas ranch where she has hunted the staples: deer, turkey, quail, and wild pig. She even skins her own game. She also hosts a variety of charities including: Eva’s Heroes, PADRES Contra el Cancer; as well as being a supporter for many more.
